Operation Archer is a hike event that the venturer's do at night hiking to different bases that has different activities such as:
- Queensland Tent building
- First Aid
- Map and Compass
- Initiative
- Kim's Game
- Knots
- Construction
It's a lot like the event that the Darling Downs Region runs for all of the Queensland Scouts and Venturers, but archer is only for the venturer section.
Out of about 30 teams the 2nd Toowoomba Venturers came 2nd what a great effort for there first time competing at Operation Archer
