What are Venturers and what do they do?
Venturer Scouts (also commonly known as 'Venturers') is for young men and women between 14 to 18 years of age. The program is flexible allowing the member to choose activities according to their own interests. A group of Ventures Scouts who meet together on a regular basis form what is called 'the Venturer Unit'. For more information, see the links section.
Ventures can: - Plan their own camps and Activities
- Accept challenges as a unit
- Participate in adventurous activities of all sorts
- Earn badges & awards
- Learn new skills
- Meet new people and make many new friends
- Challenge them selves in a range of exciting new experiences
- Go Hiking, Abseiling, Canoeing, Rafting, Sailing, Scuba Diving and many more adventurous indoor and out door activities
